A LOOK INSIDE DIVERSEY HOUSE

The venue redefines the sports bar experience with three distinct spaces.

Restaurant and Sports Bar

The centerpiece features a Chicago original Brunswick triple-arch pre-Prohibition bar, complete with a bullet hole rumored to be from gangster John Dillinger. Guests can relax at swing tables with porch swing benches and enjoy open-air dining thanks to garage doors that embrace Chicago’s summer breeze. 25 High-Definition TVs, including a 100” Ultra HD screen, and personalized audio are available at every table.  A variety of eclectic warm neon lights adds vibrancy and character, while a canopy of stringed fairy lights creates a cozy, intimate atmosphere, softening the expansive feel of the large warehouse-style space.

Beer Garden

Tucked upstairs and behind the main bar is a hidden beer garden oasis, offering a serene outdoor escape in warmer months with games. This versatile area also includes a walk-up bar with frozen cocktails and the full menu.

Inside-Out Brewery

Connected to the restaurant, the Inside-Out Brewery offers the ambiance of an indoor beer garden, complete with artificial turf, patio furniture, and games like cornhole, creating a summer-like vibe all year round. Equipped with a state-of-the-art 4-vessel, 20-barrel brewing system, the brewery produces over 2,000 barrels of craft beers and seltzers annually, featuring creations from both Moor’s and Steep Ravine. Guests can often catch a glimpse of the brewmaster in action, crafting the next batch, or enjoy the space itself, which opens at times for food and drinks.

Murals by Local Artists

Both the interior and exterior of Diversey House showcase vibrant murals and artwork by renowned local Chicago artists Dwelone, Afrokilla and Cesar Perez. Their colorful caricatures and graffiti-style script create an urban contemporary aesthetic that is both edgy and inviting.

FOOD AND DRINK

Diversey House presents a menu of scratch-made, shareable dishes thoughtfully paired with a diverse selection of innovative libations. Guests can enjoy craft beers, cocktails crafted with women- and minority-owned spirits, a creative non-alcoholic program and hemp-derived beverages, offering something for everyone.

Menu

The menu features elevated pub fare with global influences and Chef Bynum’s signature creativity. Highlights include his Signature Ribs, served with pickled watermelon rind and espresso-chipotle BBQ sauce, featured in O Magazine; The Rockaway Fries, loaded with oxtail ragout, beer cheese fondue, charred corn, and scallions; and Wu-Tang Wings, delivering bold, unforgettable flavors. Seasonally inspired options like Plantain Nachos, N.O. Love Suppli and Letter to Nana add variety, while twists on classic sandwiches and bar bites round out the offerings. Chef Bynum also plans to offer weekend brunch while introducing seasonal specials, including pizza and ramen, in future menu iterations.

Beer Selections

The beer menu reflects the creativity and craftsmanship of Diversey House’s partner breweries, Moor’s and Steep Ravine. Special releases, collaborations and hemp-derived THC options ensure a constantly evolving variety of flavors and weekly infusions.

Moor’s Brewing Company is celebrated for its bold and innovative take on traditional beer styles. From its smooth IPAs, dry-hopped with honey malt, to the rich Moor’s Imperial Porter,  infused with lavender, each brew delivers an unparalleled experience.

Steep Ravine Brewing Company, formerly Ravinia Brewing Company, creates approachable yet surprising beers inspired by stories and experiences. Fan favorites like the Steep Ravine IPA, the GABF award winning Diversey Station Hazy Pale Ale and Food Truck Pilsner offer crisp, refreshing options, while seasonal releases and experimental styles, including barrel-aged IPAs and hop-infused lagers, keep the lineup exciting.

An exclusive collab by Moor’s and Steep Ravine, “The Patsy Series” pays homage to Patsy Young, a formerly enslaved woman who gained freedom and brewed beer to support herself. A portion of proceeds from this limited-release series will benefit the Care Moor Foundation for Civic Engagement.

Cocktail List

The curated cocktail menu will showcase a blend of timeless classics and innovative creations crafted by mixologists, featuring top-shelf spirits from women-owned and minority-owned brands. Guests can also enjoy hemp-derived THC-infused beverages, creative beertails, and a thoughtfully designed non-alcoholic program offering fresh juice blends infused with herbs and spices.

CURATED PROGRAMMING

Following its February launch, Diversey House will host a variety of curated events, including the Big Game and March Madness screenings, trivia nights, live music including resident DJs as well as seasonal beer releases. Guests can also join the Diversey House Mug Club, featuring exclusive beer infusions every Wednesday for a unique tasting experience.

PRIVATE EVENTS

Diversey House is designed to accommodate gatherings of all sizes, from intimate dinners for 10 to large celebrations or weddings for up to 200 guests. With three distinct spaces, guests can choose from the restaurant itself, the Inside-Out Brewery, the beer garden or a full-venue buyout.
